"11:11 have played a massive role in my reintegration to the community. From being in prison they regularly checked up on me, making sure upon release that I had the right things in place and the opportunity to succeed in living a normal life again. They have gone above and beyond. I can't thank them enough for their support."

— Service User

Our Through the Gate (TTG) model for service users offers the following:

  • Intensive pre-release support starting 3-6 months before release.

  • Identifying the barriers each individual faces to breaking the cycle of offending and creating a bespoke plan.

  • Meeting individuals at the gate on the day of release and supporting in those crucial, initial weeks back in community and beyond.

  • Liaising with probation services in prison and community to ensure collaborative working and risk management.

Our work focuses on support in the following key areas:

Resettlement: Signposting to Accommodation services. Help with benefits, ID, budgeting and digital equipment.

Health and well-being: Physical fitness ( including gym memberships) counselling, recovery and neurodivergence support.

Skills: Employment, training and education.

Referrals can come via prison, probation and other agencies including charities

2: INITIAL SESSION

We complete needs assessments and eligibility forms with referred individuals.

3: PRE-RELEASE SUPPORT

We hold one to one sessions in custody to build trust and identify barriers, building a bespoke plan for release.

4: MEET AT GATE

Where required we meet individuals at the gate on the day of release and support with initial post release appointments. Providing a phone if required.

5: POST-RELEASE SUPPORT

We provide ongoing support in the community including life skills, training opportunities, budgeting and health and well-being.

6: COMPLETION

Together with the individuals we mutually agree the project completion date. However, they are always welcome to contact us if they need further support.
