Roy Harding
Roy lives in Salford and worked in the NHS for over 40 years, latterly in a number of senior management positions, including Director of Operations at Trafford Healthcare Trust.
Roy retired in 2008 and was appointed as a Public Governor at Salford Royal Foundation Trust in 2009, becoming Lead Governor in 2010.
In 2010, Roy became involved in the Greater Manchester charity, Gaddum, and was appointing as a Trustee in 2012, going on to become both Acting Chair and Chair.
During his time at Gaddum he oversaw considerable change to the organisation, resulting in increased revenue and staffing, but most significantly supporting the wonderful staff who provide incredible services to the people of Greater Manchester.
He retired from Gaddum in 2022 and as Chair, is now proud to offer support to 11:11 Prison Support in the innovative and groundbreaking work being undertaken to support offenders and former offenders.
